Canyoning Guide
Die Ausbildung zum Canyoningguide ist
in drei Teile gegliedert. Neben Seiltechniken,
Wildwasserschwimmen, Rettungstechnik
und Erste Hilfe als praktische
Inhalte erlernt ihr bei den Theorieeinheiten
Wasserkunde, Geologie, Tourenplanung-
und Führung, gesetzliche Grundlagen/
Berufskunde und Umweltkunde
die wichtigsten Bausteine um sicher eine
Gruppe führen zu können.
Nach bestandener Prüfung habt ihr die
Möglichkeit überall als Guide zu arbeiten
und euch in den Bundesländern Tirol, Salzburg
und Kärnten autorisieren zu lassen.
The canyoning guide course is split into
three parts, which lasts a week each. You
will be instructed in the practical training in
rope skills, white water swimming, rescue
skills, and First Aid. Theoretical knowledge
will be given in hydrology, meteorology,
geology, planing tours and how to guide
a tour, environmental care. Additionally
knowledge about legal aspects will be
provided. After passing the exam you can
work for companies worldwide. For selfemployment
this course is accepted to
be legally authorised and registered in the
provinces Tyrol, Salzburg and Carinthia.
Raftguide
Die Ausbildung zum Raftingguide dauert je nach Wildwasserlevel ca. eine Woche.
Neben Wasser-, Wetter- und Seilkunde erlernt ihr sämtliche notwendige Techniken des führens eines Raftingbootes.
Rettungstechnik, Erste Hilfe und Materialkunde runden die Ausbildung ab.
Nach bestandener Prüfung habt ihr die Befähigung weltweit als IRF Guide (international Rafting Federation) zu arbeiten.

Kurskosten: 590 EUR
The training to become a raftingguide lasts for about a week, depending on the current water level.
You will get instructed in hydrology, meteorology, rope-skills and all the necessary skills for guiding a raft.
Furthermore ,rescue techniques, First Aid, and knowledge about rafts and used materials are taught.
After passing the exam you have the permission to work worldwide as an IRF (international rafting federation)
guide.
